A lot has changed over 20 years and
10 conventions. From New England to California, YJA has worked to bring
together youth from across the world
to help strengthen the bonds that tie
together our community. In 2012, YJA
will bring together Jain youth from
the
across the globe for the 10 biennial
celebration of this noble mission set
forward in 1994.
YJA’s Goals
Raise awareness of Jain ideals and principles
- Create a forum for sharing Jain Dharma
- To address the difficulties and concerns facing youth
- Prepare Jain youth to become leaders in their communities
- Develop friendships among young Jains and strengthen local Jain youth groups
- Inspire Jain youth to learn more about Jain philosophy
iJain: Evolution of a Mind,will bring together over 650 youth attendees, over 100 volunteers and nearly 80 speakers and scholars to help build the future of Jainism in North America.
